Please visit our Getting Started page for more information on the steps: https://epmonitoring.net/getting-started/

How much does it cost for E.P. Monitoring Services?

For the reason that each situation is unique in legal considerations and geography, our prices are available upon consultation.  We strive to keep our costs reasonable and affordable provided that all terms and conditions are followed by the wearer.

What does a GPS Bracelet do?

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. The Omnilink OM500 uses satellites and cell networks to transmit and keep record of the wearer’s location around the clock. The device also tracks whether the wearer is at home for legally implemented curfew hours. In addition, it records that the individual is staying clear of prohibited areas and people.  Any deviation of curfew, designated areas, or other legal missteps will trigger immediate alerts to the monitoring authority.

What are the features on the bracelet itself?

The small indentation on the front of the Omnilink OM500  is a communication verification sensor. If the wearer receives a vibration, tone, or a voice message, a finger can be placed over the indentation in order to shut it off and acknowledge that the notification has been received.  If the notification is not acknowledged or acted upon, the court or monitoring authority will continue to send alerts until the wearer responds.

What types of notifications will I receive on my monitor?

E.P. Monitoring or your monitoring authority can send automated or custom messages to your device. The device will provide you a warning chime that a message is waiting before it plays. Messages can let you know anything from alerts that the device needs charged or that the monitoring authority needs to be contacted.

How do I charge my monitor and how often?

E.P. Monitoring provides a magnetic charger that plugs into the wall and easily attaches to the device. We advise that your device is charged at or around the same time each day.  Maintaining a consistent charging routine should allow the device to charge in less than 60 minutes. The device will blink green once a full charge is achieved.

Do I have any restrictions while wearing my monitor?

The wearer may continue with most normal daily activities.  A work and school routine, as well as appointments, workouts and anywhere else other than where the wearer has been instructed to avoid may be frequented.  The device is waterproof, however, should not be submerged underwater.

Is it safe to wear my monitor for an MRI, CT Scan or X-Rays?

You cannot wear a monitoring bracelet if you need an MRI. Arrangements will need to be made with your supervising agency ahead of time to arrange for the monitor to be safely removed prior to the procedure. Your supervising agency may have additional requirements.

Will I set off alarms going through security checkpoints?

No.  You may enter and exit stores and other daily security checkpoints inconspicuously.  The monitor is no different from a cell phone or jewelry in that regard.
